Some places to find candidates (and to find jobs) in...
Sales and Marketing
Let's face it: sales is sales, and marketing is marketing. While it's nice to get industry-specific experience, many veterans can adapt well to selling or marketing in a new product niche, or even industry. If you agree, or you're so desperate for these candidates that you'll spend a little on training, then go for these sites. (Assume job posting and resume database search is fee-based unless stated otherwise.)
Also remember: 1) good salespeople are well networked, so when you find one, ask them for names of others; and 2) while the popular general job boards often have sales candidates, also see Call Center resources (a related niche):
- AccesSalesJobs - only sales and marketing jobs; low traffic; fee-based job postings, no resume db.
- AccountManager focuses on account management and technical sales jobs. It's affiliated with SalesEngineer, MarketingManager, and ProductManager in the CareerMarketplace network of sites (unfortunately, these four aren't among their free posting sites)
- American Marketing Association - A large trade association; positions skew to marketing. Fee-based postings, no resume db.
- American Teleservices Association - Formerly the American Telemarketing Association, ATA represents the call centers, trainers, consultants, and equipment suppliers that initiate, facilitate, and generate telephone, Internet, and email sales, service, and support.
- Association for Interactive Media - The "trade association for business on the Internet."
- Association for Electronic Commerce - AECPII is small. Fee-based postings. Free resume search but contact info is hidden; you email via the site to contact desirable candidates.
- Career Journal - senior-level sales positions is a staple of the Wall Street Journal's career site
- Careers in Direct Marketing - good search functionality; resume db bundled with job posting packages
- Computer Reseller News - The career section of CRN magazine
- CRMXchange - telemarketing and customer support-focused jobs
- DirectMarketingCareers - as it sounds
- Direct Marketing World - its Job Center has been a staple of the site for several years
- FatJob - Geared to Silicon Valley area for IT jobs, including related sales, management, marketing and operations positions. Free to post.
- IT Sales Resumes - technical salespeople; free to post jobs
- Jobs4Sales is one of the many channel sites in the LocalCareers network.
- Just Tech Sales Jobs - not large, but technical sales focused
- LeasingJobs - for those in this niche of sales
- MarketingClassifieds - as it sounds
- MarketingDreamJobs - site doesn't quite live up to its name
- MarketingJobs - Claims on number of jobs and resumes appears to be inflated
- Marketing JobStore and Sales JobStore are part of the same network of sites.
- MarketingLadder - part of TheLadders, a new family of 6-figure geared job/networking boards.
- MedicalReps - as in medical sales representative jobs
- MedicalSalesJobs - similar idea to above

- NationJob - check their Sales channel
- PharmaceuticalRepJobs - geared to sales representatives in the pharmaceutical industry

- SalesRepCentral - Founded in early 1999, jobs are not the focus on this robust online community for sales professionals -- which is why it's probably worth digging to find the networking section where you can post free help wanted ads.

- SalesWorkz - Founded in fall 2000, resume search is free if you pay for one job posting.
- SalesTrax holds live job fairs around the U.S., besides what's on the web site
